You Love Your Child More Than Anything. And You're Also Exhausted.

You love your child deeply…and some days, that love is the only thing keeping you going. Between OT appointments, speech therapy, IEP meetings, and meltdowns that leave the whole house dysregulated, there's very little left over for you. You're running on empty, and the to-do list never gets shorter.

As your child gets older, the questions get harder. Am I doing enough? Am I doing it right? You second-guess the diagnosis timeline; maybe you worry that you waited too long. Or maybe your child hasn’t been “officially” diagnosed yet, and you’re wondering when the right time for the diagnosis is. You worry if something you did caused this, even though you know, logically, that's not true. The guilt has a way of creeping in.

And then there's everyone else. Your co-parent may not see things the same way you do. Maybe they're still questioning the diagnosis, or approaching things differently, and that disconnect adds another layer of stress to an already full plate. Your friends and family try to help, but they don't really get it. You find yourself explaining, defending, and advocating constantly, and it's wearing you down.

You're not burned out because you're doing it wrong. You're burned out because you've been doing so much, with so little resources,

You're Not Alone, Even if it Feels That Way

Parenting a neurodivergent child is a demanding role. But it's rarely talked about honestly. Most parenting spaces aren't built for your experience, and most support groups aren't either.

The emotional weight of this kind of parenting is real: the grief that can come with a new diagnosis, the advocacy fatigue, the sensory overload that ripples through your whole household, and the love that coexists with all of it. These experiences deserve more than a quick Google search or a well-meaning comment from someone who doesn't quite understand.

Understanding ADHD and autism, how they show up in your child (and yourself), and what your child needs from you can be transformative. So can connecting with other parents who are living it, too.

Whether you’re in Henderson, Las Vegas, North Last Vegas, Pahrump, Reno, or somewhere in between, you can attend this group virtually from the comfort of your own home.
