Las Vegas Therapist
Alicia Snyder
I help adults who feel stretched thin by their roles and responsibilities. I aim to help you reconnect with yourself amidst the chaos of daily life.
Therapy for Parents
Parenting is hard. Parenting kids who are at completely different stages of life is something else entirely.
Your toddler still needs you for everything, but your middle schooler is pushing back on every boundary, and your teenager barely acknowledges you exist. You're not just one parent-you're cycling through completely different versions of yourself multiple times a day, often without a moment to breathe between them.
Add other stressors, like a recent move to a new city, a new school system, new friendships to help your kids build, and it all feels so much heavier. You may be doing this while also navigating a demanding job, a career that's shifting, or a partner whose own schedule leaves little room for backup.
You might be feeling:
Guilty that you can't give each child what they need from you all the time
Resentful (and then guilty about the resentment)
Like you've lost yourself somewhere between school pickups, homework, and survival mode
Disconnected from your partner, because there's no bandwidth left after the kids
In our work together, we'll slow down, figure out sustainable solutions, identify changes to make, and take a closer look at how you can be present for your kids without losing yourself entirely in the process.
Therapy for Professionals in New Roles
You worked hard to get here. So why does it feel like you're one wrong decision away from being found out?
You recently stepped into a leadership role (a promotion, a new title, more responsibility, etc.,) and the excitement is real. But so is the self-doubt. You're making decisions that affect other people now, and the margin for error feels smaller than it used to. You second-guess yourself in meetings. You replay conversations. You wonder if the people around you can tell you're still figuring it out.
Or maybe your path here looks different. Your family relocated. Your partner's career came first this time, and now you're rebuilding your professional identity from scratch in a new city. You're navigating job applications, unfamiliar industries, and the grief of leaving behind a role or a reputation you'd spent years building. You're proud of your family and the sacrifice made sense, but that doesn't make it easier.
You’re probably feeling like you're performing confidence you don't actually feel, or uncertain how to ask for help without it looking like weakness
I've sat across from people in your position before — just in a different room.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as an executive and leadership coach, working with leaders at some of the most recognized organizations. I helped high-performing people get better at what they did. And the longer I did that work, the more I noticed something: the most talented, accomplished people in the room were often carrying something that coaching alone couldn't reach.
They didn't just need better frameworks or sharper communication skills. They needed to understand why they kept self-sabotaging despite years of success. Why they couldn't turn the anxiety off even when things were going well. Why the promotion they'd worked toward for years felt hollow the moment they got it. They needed therapy…and most of them had never had a safe place to say that out loud.
That realization is what brought me here. I wanted to offer something deeper than I could in a coaching relationship. If you've ever felt like the version of you that shows up at work and the version of you that's barely holding it together inside are two completely different people, I understand that disconnect in a way most therapists don't.
Therapy gives you a space to untangle the pressure from the real you underneath it. We'll work on the beliefs driving your self-doubt, clarify what success means to you, and build a stronger sense of confidence.

Who I am and how I got here
Before pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I spent over a decade working as a professional coach. I supported leaders and professionals in high-responsibility roles who were navigating stress, burnout, and major life transitions. Over time, I became increasingly aware of how stress and early experiences shape not only thoughts, but physiological responses. Even when someone is insightful and capable, their nervous system can still feel activated or stuck.
My background also includes training in applied neuroscience, which has strengthened my understanding of how chronic stress impacts regulation, behavior, and emotional processing. That interest led me to pursue formal training in clinical mental health counseling, with a focus on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and the body. As a mother of three, I understand how demanding and isolating certain seasons of life can feel, particularly when someone is managing significant internal stress while still showing up for others.
How I help
My approach is grounded and collaborative. I help clients identify and challenge negative beliefs that shape how they see themselves and the world, while strengthening a more stable, coherent sense of self. I also incorporate values work, as clarity around what matters most often supports change that feels intentional and personally meaningful.
Off the clock
Outside of sessions, I love spending time with my husband and our three children. We’re an active family and spend a lot of time outside, whether we’re exploring local areas or heading to the park. When I’m on my own, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying new recipes with music playing in the background. Cooking is one of the ways I recharge.
