Therapist for Queer and Neurodivergent Adults
Dana Seidlinger
I work with ADHD and autistic adults who have spent their lives feeling like they don't quite fit in. My goal is to help you feel confident in who you are so you can show up fully in the spaces and communities that matter to you.
Therapy for ADHD and Autistic Adults in Las Vegas
You weren't the kid who got in trouble or took up too much space. You were the one who kept the peace, read the room, and made yourself easy to be around. Maybe you were the oldest, or the responsible one, or the child who learned early that the best way to stay safe was to stay small. You were dependable. You were low-maintenance. And somewhere along the way, you lost track of what you actually needed.
As an adult, you’ve noticed that that pattern is showing up everywhere: You say yes when you mean no. You absorb other people's emotions and call it empathy. You feel guilty for having needs at all, let alone expressing them. For many neurodivergent adults, this is a survival strategy that developed after years of masking, of sensing that the way your brain works didn't quite fit, and of working overtime to make sure nobody noticed.
Maybe you've recently received an ADHD or Autism diagnosis and are starting to see your history in a new light. Maybe you're still in that earlier place of wondering why connection feels harder than it looks, why transitions knock you flat, or why you can hold so much together for others but fall apart when it comes to yourself.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down and take up space. We'll explore where these patterns came from, build boundaries that don't feel like betrayal, and figure out who you are when you're not busy managing everyone else's experience.
Therapy for Queer Adults
Whether you're exploring your identity, working through the impact of religious background, navigating relationships, or simply looking for a therapist who gets it without needing a primer, you're welcome here.
You shouldn't have to spend your session educating your therapist or wondering if it's safe to be fully honest. This is a space where your identity isn't a problem to be worked around; it's part of who you are, and it's welcome in the room. Whether you're newly out, somewhere in the middle of figuring things out, or just carrying the long-term weight of growing up queer in an environment that made that harder than it should have been, we’ll work through it at whatever pace feels right for you.

Who I am, and how I got here:
I understand the push and pull between the expectations that are placed on your shoulders and who you actually want to be. Pursuing this field of work began from my own questions of who I wanted to be and how I could contribute to my community in ways that were sustainable for the life I wanted to live. I pursued a field that forced me to confront my own history, how it impacted me, and how it “showed up” in the relationship with myself and with others. Learning how to manage the emotional “echo” of my past experiences made a difference in what my journey looked like. Finding a foundation of self can be a pivotal starting point in blocking out the noise and designing a life that fits your needs. I am passionate about helping people embrace themselves and identify how their strengths can be leveraged in healing and growth.
How I help:
I approach therapy with the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I provide compassion, empathy, and gentle observations to support you in discovering what changes will be the most effective and valuable. I believe that true, lasting change must come from within rather than an outside source “telling” you what must change. Let's discover these connections together and figure out what works for you!
You will find a relaxed, “cozy” vibe in my office. Take your shoes off, bring a snack, a blanket, fidgets, coloring pages, etc. Whatever you need to feel comfortable is encouraged and welcomed. If you’d feel more comfortable playing a game of Uno instead of just sitting and chatting, that’s okay, too!
Off the clock:
In my free time, you will find me striving to improve my “green thumb,” thrifting vintage treasures, reading books, gaming, arts and crafting, and listening to my record collection.
