Online Depression Therapy for People in Nevada
Because “Have You Tried Yoga?” doesn’t fix anything.
If you’ve ever been told to “just cheer up” or “look on the bright side,” you probably wanted to roll your eyes so hard they got stuck. If fixing depression were as simple as gratitude lists, green smoothies, and a quick jog, you wouldn’t be reading this right now.
Remember when life felt… lighter?
You actually had the energy to make plans (and keep them), eat something besides cereal for dinner, or even look forward to the weekend?
These days, it’s more like: wake up already tired, muster up the energy to brush your teeth, drag yourself through the day, and hope no one notices you’re running on fumes. From the outside, people probably think you’re “fine.” You show up, you smile when you have to, you get your work done. But inside, it’s a different story.
You’re canceling plans, dodging calls, and living with a heaviness no one else seems to see.
And when you’ve tried to talk about it? Cue the Greatest Hits of Bad Advice:
Just think positive.”
“Go for a run.”
“It’s all in your head.”
Instead, getting out of bed feels like dragging a boulder uphill. Your to-do list is piling up, your texts are going unanswered, and your Netflix account keeps asking, “Are you still watching?” (Yes, Netflix, I’m still here. Stop judging me!)
Our Approach to Online Depression Therapy
At Wandering Pine Wellness, we don’t do “go girl” therapy. You know the kind: where your therapist agrees with everything you say for three years straight and calls it progress.
Spoiler: that doesn’t work.
Instead, picture us like a hiking buddy on a brutal trail. We’re not carrying you on our back, but we’re also not letting you plop down at the bottom and say, “Nah, I’m good.” We’ll walk with you, point out where you keep tripping over the same rock, and sometimes give you a little shove when you’d rather just sit in the mud.
Here’s what therapy in Nevada might look like:
Calling out your brain’s BS. Depression is a master manipulator. It lies. We’ll work on spotting those lies and shutting them down.
Finding your momentum again. Instead of drowning in dishes, emails, and “shoulds,” you’ll learn small, realistic steps that actually stick.
Telling your inner critic to take a seat. Because no one needs that jerk yelling in their head all day.
Making life feel less… blah. Slowly but surely, we’ll help you reconnect with things that make life worth living (and no, we’re not talking about toxic positivity posters).

Who We work With
Depression doesn’t care how “together” you look on the outside. You could be killing it at work, raising a family, or juggling a million responsibilities AND still barely managing to drag yourself out of bed. From the outside, people see “competent, reliable, successful.” Inside, it feels more like “exhausted, second-guessing everything, and secretly Googling “why am I always tired?” at 2 a.m.
Maybe you’ve tried the DIY fixes, self-help books, journaling, mindfulness apps, deep breathing. But somehow depression keeps finding the loophole.
We work with adults and teens who are ready for something different than another pep talk. If you’re tired of white-knuckling it through your days, therapy can actually help.
Here are some of the folks we work with most often:
Professionals who look polished on the outside, but are quietly drowning in burnout, Sunday Scaries, and endless Zoom fatigue.
Neurodivergent adults juggling masking, executive dysfunction, and the energy drain of trying to “fit in.”
Parents who love their kids but are running on fumes, wondering when they’ll feel like themselves again.
LGBTQ+ clients navigating identity, belonging, and the very real weight of living in a world that doesn’t always get it.
Teens who are tired of being dismissed as “moody” when what they’re actually dealing with is depression.
College students under pressure to have it all figured out while secretly googling “how to drop out without disappointing everyone.”
First responders, veterans, and healthcare workers carrying the invisible toll of seeing and doing too much.
If you see yourself in one (or more) of these, you’re in the right place!

FAQs About Depression Therapy
How long does depression therapy take?
Clients participate in therapy for anywhere from several months to a few years. We’re not here to trap you in the therapy cycle forever. We want you to feel better and actually live your life.
Do I need to be in a“really bad” spot to start therapy?
Nope. If life feels heavier than you want it to, that’s reason enough. You don’t need to wait until you’re crying in the bathroom at work to get help.
While insurance disagrees with us on this, we also see therapy as a preventative measure that can support you before the “crying in the bathroom at work” stage,
Will therapy really help?
Yes, but not in the “my life is perfect now” kind of way. More like: “I can get through the day without wanting to throw my phone at the wall.” That’s progress. It may take some time, but we’re here to walk alongside you throughout this process.
What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work?
Not all therapy clicks. We’re not going to just nod politely while you spiral. We’ll push back, give you tools, and problem-solve if things still aren’t clicking. We may also recommend something like EMDR if you’re open to going a little deeper.
What if I don’t want meds?
Therapy can help on its own. And if you ever do want to explore meds, we’ll support you in weighing the pros and cons of taking medication.
I live in Pahrump. Can you still work with me?
Yes! That’s the beauty of online therapy—we can see you if you live anywhere in NV. Whether you’re in Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Reno, Carson City, or anywhere in between, online therapy allows us to work together.
Do you see teens?
We do. Alexis M. sees clients 13+, Darlene Z. sees clients 16+, and Lexi T. sees clients 10+.
