Las Vegas Therapist
Darlene Zepp, LCSW
Hi there, I’m Darlene. If you’re here, you might be navigating a few different things: maybe your own ADHD, maybe parenting a child or teen who is neurodivergent, or perhaps you’re carrying the weight of past experiences and looking for a way to heal. I’m here for you.
Therapy for Parents, Perinatal, Postpartum & ADHD
Parenting can be both beautiful and exhausting. For many, it brings both joy and overwhelm, especially when ADHD enters the mix. Maybe you or your child are newly diagnosed and everything suddenly makes more sense, but also feels more complicated. Maybe you’ve always felt like you were “doing too much” and “not doing enough” at the same time. Or maybe you’re noticing old patterns from your own childhood resurfacing as you try to parent differently than you were parented.
Therapy can help you slow down, sort through the noise, and figure out what actually helps you and your family thrive.
When ADHD Touches Every Part of Life
ADHD doesn’t just affect focus. It impacts relationships, parenting, work, and self-esteem. Many adults grow up feeling “too much,” “too scattered,” or “too sensitive.” Parents of ADHDers often feel constantly “on,” managing school meetings, emotional ups and downs, and the quiet guilt of wondering if they’re doing enough.
Together, we can build strategies that fit your brain (or your child’s), not fight against it. We’ll work toward understanding what’s happening beneath the surface; why you freeze, forget, or shut down. And we’ll find ways to create more space, structure, and compassion in daily life.
Here’s What We Might Do Together
Discuss your experiences: perinatal or postpartum mental health issues are common, but that doesn’t make them easy.
Work on coping strategies for anxiety, mood shifts, sleep challenges, intrusive thoughts, or trauma symptoms.
Explore identity: who you were before becoming a parent or entering/leaving service, and who you are now (or want to be).
Build a support system and practical routines that feel possible
Use evidence-based modalities of therapy tailored to your needs (e.g. ACT, DBT, CBT) to promote healing and self-compassion.
If any part of you is curious, even if you are still skeptical, let’s just talk.
What We Might Do Together
Talk openly about what’s been hard, whether that’s parenting stress, burnout, relationship concerns, or trauma
Build coping skills for anxiety, executive dysfunction, sensory overload, or emotional dysregulation.
Explore identity: who you were before you knew you were neurodivergent or before becoming a parent, and who you’re becoming now.
Use EMDR and other evidence-based therapies (like DBT, or CBT) to heal old wounds and make room for new patterns.
Create realistic routines and supports that fit your actual life, not the one you think you “should” be living.
If part of you feels curious, even if you’re not sure therapy will help, that’s enough to start. We’ll go at your pace.

Who I am, and how I got here:
I’m passionate about helping adults who feel stretched thin by the demands of work, family, and everything in between. With both personal and professional experience navigating high-pressure roles, I understand how stress, burnout, and constant responsibility can take a toll. My background as a veteran and parent has given me firsthand insight into identity shifts, emotional fatigue, and the impact of transitions. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it can be to have someone in your corner; someone who helps you feel grounded and capable, even when life feels overwhelming.
Who I help:
I work with parents who are raising ADHD kids and teens and want to feel more in control of their day-to-day life. Many of the parents I meet are exhausted from juggling school meetings, therapy appointments, and household responsibilities on top of everything else. They often describe feeling like they’re “always on,” and that no matter how hard they try, it’s never enough.
Some of my clients are navigating new diagnoses and trying to figure out what’s ADHD and what’s simply part of growing up. Others have known for years and are looking for new strategies to handle the challenges that come with adolescence. Wherever you are in the journey, I can help you feel less alone and more confident in your role as a parent.
Off the clock:
Outside of the therapy office, you can usually find me spending quality time with my family or diving into one of my many hobbies. I enjoy reading, exploring new foods, caring for my growing collection of plants, and unwinding with video games. These activities help me recharge and stay grounded so I can show up fully for the people I work with.
