Las Vegas Therapist for Adults, Teens, and Couples
Alexis Montes
I help adults navigating ADHD and grief who feel stuck in cycles of overwhelm, distraction, or loss. My goal is to support you in building balance, easing anxiety, and finding a way forward that feels both manageable and meaningful.
Therapy for Adults and Teens
Therapy for Grief and Loss
Grief doesn’t follow rules. It can feel like waves; calm one moment, overwhelming the next. And when ADHD is part of the picture, grief can feel even more complicated: difficulty focusing, emotional intensity, and exhaustion can all pile up at once.
Whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, a missed opportunity, or a life transition, I provide a safe place to explore those feelings without judgment. Together, we’ll honor your grief while finding ways to bring moments of peace and connection back into your life.
How Can Therapy Help with Grief?
It’s a space to name and process emotions without needing to “hold it all together”
Develop grounding tools for when grief and ADHD symptoms collide
Build acceptance for where you are right now, without rushing your healing
Explore ways to carry forward memories, values, and meaning as you rebuild your sense of self

Therapy for ADHDers
Living with ADHD can feel like you’re running a race where the course keeps changing. The to-do lists pile up, routines slip through your fingers, and even when you’re trying your hardest, it still feels like you’re falling short. I get it. Not in a “textbook definition” kind of way, but in the real, messy, everyday-life kind of way.
ADHD often goes hand-in-hand with grief. Maybe you’re grieving missed opportunities, misunderstood relationships, or years of being labeled “lazy” or “difficult.” Or maybe grief has recently entered your life, and the ADHD symptoms you usually manage now feel overwhelming. Together, we can sort through both layers so you feel more grounded and less burnt out.
How Can Therapy Help Adults with ADHD?
I’m not here to “fix” you or demand that you follow rigid systems that don’t fit your life. I’m here to help you:
Untangle the guilt and shame that often show up with ADHD
Find strategies that work for your brain
Sort through the chaos so your energy goes toward what matters most
Build confidence in yourself, even when the world has told you otherwise
Create space for both healing and growth without adding more pressure to your plate
Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or clinical. Sometimes we’ll laugh, sometimes we’ll cry, and sometimes you’ll spend an hour infodumping everything that’s happened over the past week.
Who I am, and how I got here:
I know firsthand how overwhelming life can feel when stress, loss, and daily demands pile up. My journey into this field began after experiencing therapy that felt disconnected, and I knew that I wanted to do things differently. Over the years, I’ve supported many adults, teens, and families. I’ve seen how deeply grief, anxiety, and ADHD can shape a person’s daily life and sense of self.
Now, I help adults navigating grief, ADHD, and anxiety. I consider it an honor to hold space for people, and to walk alongside them as they move toward healing and acceptance.
How I help:
My sessions are built to feel safe, respectful, and judgment-free. Therapy with me is a space where you can breathe, reflect, and just be without pressure or expectations.
I draw from a range of approaches to fit your needs, including:
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT): making sense of complicated feelings when it feels like too much
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): untangling automatic thought patterns that keep you stuck
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): clarifying what matters most and building a life that aligns with it
Exposure Therapy: taking small, supported steps toward easing anxiety and panic
For clients with ADHD, I also bring in grounding strategies, structure, and tools to support executive functioning. I always focus on your strengths and individuality.
Off the clock:
Outside of sessions, I love spending time with my family and our two dogs (a proud corgi and border collie mom here!). You can usually find me reading, practicing yoga, trying new recipes, or recharging in nature.
