Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance Specialist | Las Vegas, NV

Location: In-person in Las Vegas, NV


Employment Type: PRN, estimated 0-10 hours per month

Pay: $18.00/hr

Position Overview: Wandering Pine Wellness is hiring a Maintenance Specialist. This role keeps our Las Vegas office safe, functional, and well-maintained. You'll be our first set of eyes on maintenance issues; someone we trust to assess a situation, handle what you can, and tell us honestly when we need to call in a specialist. You'll also be responsible for assembling furniture, moving heavy items, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess maintenance issues and recommend repair vs. calling a professional

  • Hang pictures, mirrors, shelving, and wall-mounted items

  • Patch and paint walls, replace consumables, assemble or move furniture

  • Address minor plumbing and electrical issues and triage when a licensed professional is needed

  • Communicate maintenance needs and safety concerns to our Practice Manager

Schedule and Hours

  • This position is on an as-needed basis, with an estimated 0-10 hours per month

Required Qualifications

  • Reliable and punctual: our clients and clinicians count on a functional space

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently without supervision

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs as needed

  • Respect for client confidentiality and professional boundaries (HIPAA-secure environment)

  • General handyman experience or experience with a broad range of maintenance skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a medical, wellness, or professional office setting

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems (enough to triage issues)

  • Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare privacy standards
