Paying for Services

Our therapists set their own fees based on their degree, specialties, and the market rate in their area. Click on the individual therapist's page to see their fees and learn which insurance plans they accept.

In the event that you want to work with a therapist and they don't accept your insurance plan, you can still work with them! They can provide you with an invoice (called a superbill) at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance company if you plan to use Superbills and Out-of Network benefits:

  1. Do I have out-of-network (OON) outpatient mental health benefits?

  2. If yes (to above), what percentage or dollar amount will I be reimbursed for psychotherapy?

  3. Is online therapy (aka telehealth, telemental health, or teletherapy) covered by OON benefits?

  4. What documentation do I need to submit to receive OON psychotherapy reimbursements?

  5. How do I submit the documentation?

  6. Do I need a referral from an in-network provider (i.e., my doctor) to see an out-of-network provider?

  7. For WA residents ONLY--Will I be reimbursed by services if my provider is physically located out of state?

You can also use this calculator to estimate your out-of-network reimbursement.
